Supporting yourself and colleagues is key

Participants in the Psychological First Aid programme will learn about the psychological impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and what can be done to help people cope.

Topics include

  • what is psychological first aid?
  • how do emergencies affect mental health?
  • the psychological first aid stages: prepare, look, listen, link
  • supporting yourself and colleagues

After passing the course, one user noted: 'I would recommend this course to everyone. The depth of learning was amazing. There are so many different aspects to learn many physical and emotional needs you must be aware of. I myself learned a lot and I am thankful now I can help others and be aware of their needs.'

A pharmacist said: 'A great, insightful alternative into C19 and its hidden impact on health. As a pharmacist, it gave me insights into being mindful, observant of colleagues and customers dealing with the psychological impact of C19.'
