Experienced clinic director offers MSK physiotherapist chance to 'spread wings'

The pretty clinic is in the heart of the village of Ash in east Kent

Would you like to spread your professional wings and join an enthusiastic team of physiotherapists based in the pretty village of Ash, situated about 10 miles east of Canterbury?

Clinic director Louise Cousins is looking for a musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapist to join her and the team at Ash Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic, which she set up nearly 30 years ago.

‘We are a team of specialist MSK and vestibular physiotherapists. We  work closely with other medical professionals, such as GPs and consultants in both the NHS and private sectors,’ Louise explains.

‘Together, we have accrued more than 50 years’ clinical experience and all regularly update and develop our skills in specialist areas by attending courses, conferences and further study.'

Bright and well-equipped clinic premises

‘We enjoy a delightful work atmosphere in bright, dedicated clinic premises opposite St Nicholas Church, a significant landmark in the historic village of Ash. The clinic is well equipped and has parking on site and disabled access. We have full-time administrative support.’

Louise and her colleagues remain very busy, despite the impact of Covid-19. ‘We are finding that more patients are coming to us as a first-port-of-call, perhaps because GP and NHS services are facing particular pressures at present,’ she told PhysioUpdate.

Surrounded by stunning countryside and fruit orchards, Ash also offers easy access the seaside, with coastal towns such as Deal, Sandwich and Ramsgate all nearby. If you fancy a trip to the capital, trains from nearby stations in Canterbury can whisk you to central London in less than an hour.
